The Prospect Shop brings you an excellent range of market-sector financial analysis reports, together with industry sector and regional directories, for use in competitor analysis or evaluation of suppliers, customers and potential acquisition targets.
Based in London, UK, The Prospect Shop is a Bonnier Business Information Company, which in turn is part of the Bonnier AB group of media companies. Bonnier is the Nordic Region's media giant. Sister companies in the UK of The Prospect Shop include Key Note and ICC Information.

The core information is obtained from Companies House via ICC Information. All UK limited companies have to file accounts and corporate information at Companies House. ICC Information is a major business information provider in the UK. It provides a daily feed of new data to The Prospect Shop for use in developing and publishing their range of directories and reports.
The Prospect Shop's own database maintains detailed information on all 750,000 actively-trading UK limited companies, including filed accounts over recent trading years, company directors, head office and registered addresses, subsidiaries and holding companies and more.
The Prospect Shop owns and manages analysis tools to work with this large amount of information and bring relevant insight into the areas that matter to you. The company's team of editors uses these to select, compare, contrast, rank and evaluate the performance of companies for you.
How often are the reports
updated?
Each title is update once a year, at a rate of about 20-30 titles per month.
How much information is
rewritten in updated reports?
Every company in each report is reviewed each year for inclusion. Most companies will have filed new financial accounts between editions and around 30% of other information will have changed over the course of a year. New players to an industry/region are selected, and those companies that have ceased to trade are removed. All reports are edited each year to check for the relevance of companies in them to the area under review.
