DEFINITIONS

This presentation analyses the UK market for contaminated land remediation and also provides a brief overview of the market for contaminated land assessment. Where possible an indication as to the extent of the contaminated land problem in the UK has been given together with estimates and forecasts of expenditure on assessment and remediation during the period from 1996 to 2005.

The following types of remediation techniques are analysed in this presentation:
