· The value of the UK market for wallcoverings and decorative paint increased by some 10 percent in 2001 to £973.6 million (€1 567.5 million). Furthermore, MSI project the value of the market for wallcoverings in the UK to increase by a further 2 percent in 2002
· MSI believe that decorative paint accounted for the highest proportion of the total value market for wallcoverings in the UK throughout the review period. Indeed, MSI project that decorative paint will increase its market share to 55 percent of the total market in value terms in 2002
