HOW TO CREATE YOUR BESPOKE LISTS

Prospect Swetenhams prospect·online service will ask you to register using a password - this ensures that your lists remain confidential and also that you can recall and alter lists created in previous sessions.

You can then create lists by specifying any number of factors from the following:

Job responsibilities (not available for prospect.director) - the most senior person in charge of:

Business Type, based on SIC (Standard Industry Code)

You have two choices - either to choose from an overall grouping:

or to choose from the more detailed list of 61 two digit SICs (01 to 99) that are used to categorise UK businesses

Geographical area within Great Britain:

Size by turnover: (you have the option to choose all above a certain level as well)

Size by employees: (you have the option to choose all above a certain level as well)

Once you have selected your requirements, click on Count and Prospect Swetenhams will check online using the current database and tell you how large your list will be. You can then modify your requirements until you are satisfied and purchase online using your credit card. If you choose to have it sent by email, your list will be with you as soon as a member of Prospect Swetenhams has created and verified it - generally in less than one hour.

The list is checked to ensure that there are no duplications caused by one named individual being responsible for more than one function (such as IT and HR). Email lists are in csv (comma separated variable) format, suitable for immediate use by the majority of programs, e.g. Excel.

There is currently (February 2002) no minimum order requirement for Email lists, allowing you complete freedom to create your ideal lists per sector.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions of license for lists bought from Prospect Swetenhams Ltd. via the Internet service prospect·online.

Copyright in all data contained in the list remains with Prospect Swetenhams Ltd. All rights are reserved.

A single use licence for use of the list entitles you (the user) to use the list once only. A multiple use licence entitles you to use the list as many times as required. The list is seeded to monitor its use. The list is licensed for use exclusively by you. If the list is being purchased on behalf of any other party (end user), you are required to detail this in the Delivery form. The end user and any intermediaries are also bound by these terms and conditions.

Prospect Swetenhams Ltd. maintains and licenses the list in accordance with the directives laid out by the Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998, the British Code of Advertising and Sale Promotion Practice and the Direct Marketing Association (UK) Code of Practice. You are wholly responsible for ensuring use of the list conforms with all relevant UK codes or legislation.

Prospect Swetenhams does not guarantee the result of any activity using the list. Any liability of Prospect Swetenhams Ltd. in respect of any claims of whatever nature arising out of or in connection with the purchase of the list shall be limited to the price payable for the list as detailed in the order when placed.

Please note that, where extended, credit periods are strictly 30 days. Prospect Swetenhams Ltd. reserves the right to refuse or cancel credit at any time.
