The report analyses company and industry performance over the three years up to 7th May 2003. During this period, the average Report company witnessed an 8.5 percent increase in sales from £24.2 million in 2000/01 to £26 million in 2001/02 before ending the three analysed years in 2002/03 at £26.3 million. Pre-tax profits declined by 12.4 percent over the same period however, falling from £315,000 in 2000/01 to £276,000 in 2002/03.
