During this period, the average Report company has seen sales increase by 9.3 percent, from £17.7 million in 2000/01 to £19.4 million in 2002/03. Profits have increased at the even higher rate of 15.9 percent, from £1.3 million in the first year of analysis to £1.5 million in the final year. The bus and coach operators industry has witnessed mixed results over the three years analysed. The majority of ratios have witnessed some fluctuation.
