Builders & Plumbers Merchants represent one of the largest distribution channels for many building and plumbing products, with an estimated turnover in excess of £8 billion in 1998. The range of products supplied by builders and plumbers merchants varies, but will generally include ‘light side’ (i.e. plumbing, heating, kitchen etc. materials) and ‘heavy side’ (i.e. roofing, bricks, cement, etc.)

The UK Builders & Plumbers Merchants Database 1999 includes names, addresses and telephone numbers of over 3,800 companies/outlets, which can be categorised by building products only, plumbing products only and merchants who supply both building and plumbing products.

The database is a powerful and flexible marketing tool, and can be used for mailing lists, telemarketing etc. The Builders & Plumbers Merchants Database contains key sorting fields to allow geographical segmentation by region, county, town/city, post code or telephone area.

The UK Builders & Plumbers Merchants Database 1999 is available for Microsoft Access or Excel, with the option of CD-Rom, Disk or E-Mail. The database can be purchased as a whole or in multiples of 1,000 names, based on geographical and/or merchant category segmentation.
